You've heard about it. You've watched your co-workers and friends run off to the CU Book Store and come back happy. Now, it's your chance to see what you've been missing and become a CU Book Store VIP member. It's fast, easy, simple, and it offers some of the best discounts around.

The membership is available to all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the University of Colorado. Once a month, VIP Club members can receive 20% off their purchase at the CU Book Store. This includes regularly priced general books, supplies, and clothing and gift items. Free books are offered to VIP members from time to time. As there are many, many items in the store, the CU Book Store reserves the right to exclude any and all items from the discount at any time. (Effective April 1, 2005 iPods will not be eligible for the VIP Club discount. Vera Bradley and Smith Optical are not eligible for the VIP Club discount.)

VIP members can receive their 20% discount by telling the cashier prior to making their purchase that they are a VIP member. Their name will then be checked off a list. The VIP list is updated on the 1st of each month, so new members must wait until that time before making a purchase. You will also know you can make your first purchase when you receive your first newsletter.

To be eligible to become a member you must receive our special E-Mail newsletter regarding special offers and/or special events that is sent approximately once a month. Incorrect email addresses or cancellation from the newsletter will result in cancellation from the club.
